Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.


With the imperative of meeting CO2 emissions reduction targets, Hybrid and electric driveline technologies are key focus areas within the Powertrain department requiring versatile Engineers who are comfortable working in mechanical, electrical and systems environments to develop of automatic transmissions. These programs are full delivery programmes with the transmission development of several platforms.


This role is focused on leading the calibration development and delivery of automatic transmission and their integration into a wide range of vehicle platforms.




You’ll demonstrate experience of automatic transmission software delivery, testing and engineering sign-off with experience using Calibration Tools including INCA or Canape. You possess a strong understanding of the interface and interactions between electrical and mechanical systems and have the ability to solve engineering problems using a structured logical approach.


As Lead Engineer, you’ll have experience of leading and managing a team in a demanding engineering environment with the ability to interface with many other departments and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
