WHAT TO EXPECT

 

As the Senior HR Consultant, you’ll be an integral member of the HR Contact Team and be responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of frontline HR support to Jaguar Land Rover employees across the UK and International HR Managers.

You'll be responsible for ensuring that consistent and best practice HR advice is delivered whilst adhering to SLA’s and maintaining good customer satisfaction feedback. With this role being at the front end of the new HR service that has recently been launched, you’ll be offered a great opportunity to progress with your HR career and take on team management responsibility.

You’ll have line management responsibility for HR Consultants employed under agency contracts and indirect responsibility for Jaguar Land Rover contracted employees; responsible for managing the daily workload allocation and  for providing the first tier of guidance to HR Consultants to assist them in answering queries. You’ll manage the resolution of complex customer queries; and you’ll also be a point of contact for our customers.

You’ll facilitate and organise training for all new Consultants to ensure they are fully proficient across all technologies and processes; also work with the HR Manager to set targets for HR Consultants as well as review the weekly customer satisfaction survey and follow up on feedback including implementing changes to processes.

Furthermore, you’ll be responsible for implementing lessons learned by identifying any required improvements to the policies, processes, knowledge base or training required; also seek new ideas and strategies to improve ways of working and efficiencies in the HR Shared Service.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As the Senior HR Consultant in HR Shared Services centre, you’ll be CIPD qualified or possess equivalent experience for the role as well as having experience of having worked in a Shared Service environment.

You’ll have proven experience of process development and be a highly results-driven individual who demonstrates extensive generalist HR experience which includes working knowledge of key HR practices such as disciplinary, grievances, absence management and recruitment. Owing to your high levels of tenacity, drive and perseverance, you’ll be able to deliver in a complex, highly demanding environment.
