An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world’s most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

Join this team, and you’ll be helping to fuel our growth on a global scale. Finance not only sits at the very heart of our organisation, but it also affects every element of everything we do. So the decisions you make here will ripple through our business and, ultimately, all around the world.

The Finance team is responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. It is also responsible for developing corporate financial strategy, consolidation and management reporting of corporate financial data, accounting and cash management, financial controls, and tax management.

Credit Control is a vital aspect of Jaguar Land Rover's finance team, with responsibility for assessing credit risk, reducing overdue debts, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and improving the process for collection of outstanding invoice payments. You'll be an integral part of this process, maintaining regular contact with customers and utilising your understanding of credit risk and risk profiles to reduce outstanding debts and to review and improve business practices for those customers with outstanding overdue balances.

You'll create a robust system that monitors the setting and review on a rolling basis of all customer credit limits that will withstand rigorous auditing and satisfy SOX requirements. Additionally, you'll initiate and lead meetings with internal and external customers to resolve issues impacting on Credit Control.

For this responsible role, you'll need a proven background in credit control and the ability to demonstrate a tenacious and structured approach to cash collection. You should enjoy customer contact, and working at an energetic pace. The credit control team being a busy and fastmoving environment, you'll need to be organised and capable of working under pressure and of adapting to changing situations.

Ideally, you'll have SOX compliance experience and the ability to both assess and mitigate credit risk. It is expected that you'll be a CICM member, or working towards such membership. In addition, you'll be computer literate with experience in SAP and good Excel skills, at least at an intermediate level.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
