As Lead Component Engineer for Bumpers and Grilles you will be working in a challenging role managing suppliers and budgets on large complex projects. You’ll ensure the component is properly specified, the supplier delivers against the specification, and that it meets quality, cost and time targets.

 

You’ll support the planning, coordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support programmes using product creation and delivery system principles. You’ll ensure all programme deliverables are tracked, monitored, delivered and reported accurately and on time at each gateway and you’ll interface with our Product Strategy, Advanced Product Creation, and Marketing teams to ensure the programme delivers the expected actions.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have experience of delivering large, complex injection moulding projects, including bumpers, cockpits, instrument panels, or similar. You’ll have experience of working with painting, moulding and plastics within the automotive industry, and you’ll also display proven experience of supplier management and problem solving within manufacturing. Experience of quality or tooling is also highly beneficial.
