An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world’s most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

Join this team, and you’ll be helping to fuel our growth on a global scale. Finance not only sits at the very heart of our organisation, but it also affects every element of everything we do, so the decisions you make here will ripple through our business and, ultimately, all around the world.

The Finance team is responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. It is also responsible for developing our corporate financial strategy, consolidation and management reporting of corporate financial data, accounting and cash management, financial controls, and tax management.

You should expect a challenging and interesting role from day one: you’ll be supported with building your working relationships whilst making rapidly start on managing your own workload. In order to ensure that your true potential is fulfilled, you’ll agree on both work and personal development objectives with your line manager. Taking on a consultant’s role when performing independent assessments, you’ll review the design and operating effectiveness of the internal control environment in Jaguar Land Rover. Your main aim will be to ensure compliance with our company policy and the Sarbanes Oxley legislation through coordination of the Business Controls Assurance team, process owners, and management.

Most of our roles are based in Coventry and Warwickshire, though from time to time roles become available at our other sites in the West Midlands and the North West. Specific roles would be discussed with successful candidates at the offer stage of our recruitment process.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For this role, you should be an effective communicator who is capable of taking a consultative approach when working with several stakeholders and projects. You’ll have achieved your professional accounting qualification, ideally through the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA). In addition to your formal training, you'll have a background gained within a recognised accountacy firm (Big 4 preferred) and possess experience of reviewing and improving processes and controls, with knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements being highly desirable. Finally, you’ll need to be proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
