An ever-evolving heritage. A truly exciting future. Two of the world’s most iconic brands. Jaguar Land Rover is revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

Our vehicles are admired and desired across the world for luxurious design and outstanding engineering. Driving them is an incredible experience; being the ideas and expertise behind their creation is even more exhilarating. Being part of our Engineering and Manufacturing team you'll join this journey.

In your new role as an Engineering Parts Logistics Manager, you’ll be joining our Prototype Build Preparation and Planning Team, which is responsible for the creation of prototype vehicles and acting as an interface between the Vehicle Programme and Vehicle Engineering and Manufacturing teams. You’ll be involved in the creation, development, and management of a new team strategy that will enable us to dramatically improve efficiency when handling and operating processes which involve non-scheduled / non-released parts.

You’ll lead a team which is responsible for managing engineering parts supply to our prototypes, with the ultimate goal of removing time spent by engineers on supplier negotiation and logistics support. You’ll improve delivery dates and escalate major build-stopping problems, and chair and coordinate meetings that will drive cross-functional working and conflict reduction. You’ll also be responsible for the logistics budget, ensuring adherence to the budget by all team members at all times.

You’ll have in-depth knowledge of material planning and logistics, with a comprehensive understanding of our internal systems including CMMS3, SPIRS, WERS, and WIPS. You’ll be able to understand and generate pre-production inspection reports, and will be able to deploy project management and team management skills to help successfully lead a team of engineers. You’ll be educated to degree level, or demonstrate equivalent experience within parts management or engineering.

Ideally you’ll have experience of working with product creation and delivery systems, and you’ll have an understanding of Computer-Aided Design using either Digibuck or 3DLive. Any exposure prototype vehicle engineering is highly desirable.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
