As the Emissions Regulations Specialist you'll communicate product-related emissions regulations, and their updates, in order to support the engineering function and the subsequent certification of compliant vehicles, resulting in uninterrupted sales in markets globally. You'll develop expert-level knowledge of global vehicle emissions regulations, summarising and communicating their content, supporting with their technical interpretation and impact assessment, supporting Engineering and Corporate Strategy with their planning, and representing Jaguar Land Rover externally in order to protect and promote the company's interests.


You'll also work in collaboration with Powertrain, Product Planning and Strategy, engine and vehicle programme teams, and marketing in order to ensure that legislative requirements are understood, recognised as delivery requirements and assist with technical interpretations and impact assessments.


Additionally, you'll engage with industry trade associations, policy makers and regulators to support the development of fair and proportionate emissions policies and regulations.




You'll have strong analytical skills in order to analyse, interpret, summarise and communicate complex technical regulations but also critical thinking and reasoning skills with the ability to form reasoned arguments. You'll need strong knowledge of vehicle emissions, their control and testing and the ability to develop, continually improve and govern processes. Finally, you'll be comfortable engaging others, especially those in senior positions both internally and externally to Jaguar Land Rover, in reasoned debates.
