Within the Tooling and Pressed Parts Group (T&PPG) the ‘Technologies and Programmes’ function is responsible for forming processes, tooling programmes, and new facilities for all Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. This includes managing the development, manufacture, and successful launch of tooling and equipment into nominated press facilities in a timely manner as well as providing the foundation for Jaguar Land Rover’s drive towards Best-in-Class BIW Quality and Production Performance and Costs. 
As Cost Transformation Leader, you’ll be working within Technology, Standards and Business Office department who are responsible for developing and deploying the tools and methods for T&PPG. You’ll establish direction and drive improvements to the overall enterprise, encompassing such things as capacity planning, technology, materials, and process developments as well as quality systems and standards.
Your goal will be to transform our cost structure to realise savings in operating and capital expenditure, including Cost per Hit. Additionally, you’ll forecast and plan T&PPG manpower requirements during business plan period in relation to key programme and project demands.
You’ll be need to forecast and track our Capital Investment Budget (CIB) and Strategic Budget (LEAP) and will be responsible for cost risk management and future sustainability planning. Finding new ways to work smarter and more efficiently, you’ll optimise output quality and reduce operating costs and delivery lead-times.
With your previous experience of budget forecasting, management, and control, you’ll have advanced knowledge of business transformational processes, systems, tools, and techniques.
You’ll require experience of planning and leading projects focussed on process improvement achieving consistent delivery to defined targets with the ability to lead and work as part of a cross functional team. 
A basic understanding of manufacturing processes specifically relating to metal forming, tool manufacture and pressed parts production is required. Finally, you’ll need flexibility to travel to each of our Press Shops, and occasionally travel overseas.
