LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire

WHAT TO EXPECT

Suspension. Engine mounts. Wheels and tyres. To provide an exceptional driving experience, every chassis component needs be honed to perfection. That takes all kinds of people, from designers to project managers.

Chassis is responsible for the design, development and integration of all chassis functions across all vehicle platforms. From brakes and stability control, to steering, suspension, longitudinal and lateral control, Chassis oversees all functions related to the motion domain of the vehicle.

As a Requirement Engineer, you will co-ordinate stakeholders to deliver system to programme gateways. You’ll ensure that the necessary requirements are created, baselined, reviewed, published and tracked at a programme level. In this way, you’ll help us achieve higher level requirements and ensure that all requirements are robust and meet quality standards. What’s more, you’ll ensure that requirements are exchanged with internal or external suppliers on time, for each programme. Plus, you’ll define the test cases for Verification and Validation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Ideally, you’re educated to degree level in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical or Electronic Engineering. You’ll be willing to take ownership of finding and fixing system shortcomings. Self-motivated, you’re able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision. Plus, you bring a flexible approach to everything you do.

You’ll also have a background in Systems Engineering. In addition, you’ll have the ability to write concise and robust standard requirements, using unambiguous English language engineering terms. You’ll have experience of working with requirements management tools. What’s more, you’ll bring excellent teamwork, organisational and communication skills, as well as knowledge of Chassis Systems.
