As a CAE Engineer within Climate Control Systems, you’ll develop Climate Systems using Computational Fluid Dynamic analysis to provide concept development, resolve problems and provide system performance predictions for new programmes.

 

In addition, you’ll assist in the development of vehicle programme geometry; design and model the defrost and ventilation duct systems; and evaluate the ducting system on its affects on the overall climate system performance. You’ll be working closely with Climate Control System Engineers and provide regular updates to the Climate Control Systems CAE Technical Specialist.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

You’ll have knowledge and experience of CAE methodologies within the automotive industry and have experience of solving complex technical challenges. Significant experience of CFD codes (STARCCM+) and thermodynamics along with excellent analytical and written skills are essential.

 

Ideally, you’ll have component knowledge within the automotive industry and have some project management experience along with familiarity of CAD and Teamcenter.
