Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems by helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

Sophisticated and technically complex, the electrical distribution systems in our vehicles are designed to the highest specifications, and when you join us, you’ll lead the team responsible for maintaining and delivering systems for a number of different models.

Your role will revolve around developing the simulation strategies and new processes to achieve the departmental virtual validation objectives, along with developing the plans for the team to evolve capability, exploring L4/5 rigs and new technology. Day to day, you’ll be leading a team and responsible for the specification, design, implementation, maintenance and upgrades of the hardware and software to support the model in the loop (MiL), software in the loop (SiL), hardware in the loop (HiL), test rigs and other support software and hardware to enable the design, verification and validation of electrical control unit (ECU) modules and features within the area of responsibility.


An experienced leader, you'll possess an understanding of model-based design and knowledge of requirements engineering. You'll be familiar with electrical and electronics hardware and software test as well as the use of software configuration tools, and you'll be skilled in automated test tools script writing, plant modelling and developing real-time control systems. You should round out your technical expertise with knowledge of vehicle dynamics including both active and passive chassis systems, as well as experience in software configuration tools and understanding mathematical control techniques.
