LOCATION: Solihull

Join this team, and you’ll be helping to fuel our growth on a global scale. Finance not only sits at the very heart of our organisation, but it also affects every element of everything we do. So the decisions you make here will ripple through our business and, ultimately, all around the world. The team is responsible for controlling and reporting all income and spend for each of the business areas. It is also responsible for developing corporate financial strategy, consolidation and management reporting of corporate financial data, accounting and cash management, financial controls, and tax management.

In this role you'll have widespread exposure and insight to the Manufacturing process and specifically Jaguar Land Rover Capital Investment activities. We are currently investing unprecedented levels of Capital Investment (£1bn annual spend and 200 projects) and you'll gain exposure to investment projects within all UK plants as well as a number of global sites. You'll develop strong working relationships with the Manufacturing Business Office and Engineering teams, partnering a specific area in supporting the control and stewardship of their projects and the existing capital asset base. The Business is going through a period of significant transition which provides opportunities to design and steer the future direction of the Manufacturing Capital protocol. In this role you'll lead the Manufacturing Capital Budgeting, Cash Forecasting and Actuals Reporting processes, providing robust challenge to the inputs received to drive improved forecast accuracy. You'll also work with Profit Analysis, provide accurate and timely cash inputs as required into the Business Plan, ensuring any inputs are fully documented, understood and also agreed with the relevant teams. In this role you'll take responsibility for designing and maintaining an effective compliance framework to ensure all necessary SOx controls are monitored, satisfied and evidenced for all Manufacturing capital projects.

A qualified, experienced accounting professional, you'll have business partnering experience with the ability to communicate complex financial information to a non-finance audience. You'll have strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and the ability to review, challenge and embed key processes. An independent thinker, you'll be self-motivated and comfortable managing your own workload. Confident with IT systems, you'll have intermediate or advanced MS Excel skills and ideally experience in SAP. Practical knowledge of project accounting would be an advantage.

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
